Ventura Flex® Troubleshooting

ISSUECAUSESOLUTION
The dough sticks to the back rollerThe dough is too wetFix the dough by adding more corn flour or make new dough with less water
The machine is running out of doughFeed the machine with more dough
The dough does not stick on the front rollerThe metal straps do not rotate with the front rollerThe metal straps must be firmly tightened to the roller
The dough is too dryAdd more water to the dough or make new dough with more water
The wire is over the metal strapsRemove both metal straps and install over the wire
The tortilla sticks into the tortilla cutterThe adjustments screws in the tortilla cutter holder (black plastic part) needs to be adjustedAdjust tightening the screw in the tortilla cutter holder in the right side (motor side) until you feel the tip of the screw, about one or two turns (complete turn)
Adjust untightening the screw in the tortilla cutter holder in the left side (levers side) until you do not feel the screw tip
The tortilla cutter is wetRemove and dry with a soft cloth
There is masa stuck to the tortilla cutterWash and dry the tortilla cutter
The release wire breaks constantlyThe front roller has not been cleaned properly and there is hard masa between the metal strapsRun the machine for 10 minutes at the end of the day and use the soft brush to remove the leftover masa
The release wire is too tightLoosen the wire slightly
The tortillas drop below the rear rollerThe dough is too dryAdd more water to the dough or make new dough with more water
