Ventura Flex® Troubleshooting

ISSUE CAUSE SOLUTION
The dough sticks to the back roller The dough is too wet Fix the dough by adding more corn flour or make new dough with less water
The machine is running out of dough Feed the machine with more dough
The dough does not stick on the front roller The metal straps do not rotate with the front roller The metal straps must be firmly tightened to the roller
The dough is too dry Add more water to the dough or make new dough with more water
The wire is over the metal straps Remove both metal straps and install over the wire
The tortilla sticks into the tortilla cutter The adjustments screws in the tortilla cutter holder (black plastic part) needs to be adjusted Adjust tightening the screw in the tortilla cutter holder in the right side (motor side) until you feel the tip of the screw, about one or two turns (complete turn)
Adjust untightening the screw in the tortilla cutter holder in the left side (levers side) until you do not feel the screw tip
The tortilla cutter is wet Remove and dry with a soft cloth
There is masa stuck to the tortilla cutter Wash and dry the tortilla cutter
The release wire breaks constantly The front roller has not been cleaned properly and there is hard masa between the metal straps Run the machine for 10 minutes at the end of the day and use the soft brush to remove the leftover masa
The release wire is too tight Loosen the wire slightly
The tortillas drop below the rear roller The dough is too dry Add more water to the dough or make new dough with more water
The tortilla cutter is not in working conditions Contact us at 281-994-7010

The tortillas have holes The dough needs more water Add more water to the dough or make new dough with more water
The dough is not well mixed If the masa is mixed by hand, then needs more mixing time. We recommend the use of an electric mixer
You feed the machine with more than 1.5 pounds Feed the machine with no more than 1.5 pounds
Machine is not working Machine does not start Pull the E Stop red button
Verify the three covers are closed
Change the fuse (find one inside the gears enclosure)
